Maybe Happy Ending
Maybe Happy Ending is an acclaimed original musical by Will Aronson and Hue Park that weaves a tender, sci-fi romantic story set in the near future outside Seoul, South Korea. The show follows two obsolete HelperBots, Oliver and Claire, living quiet retired lives in a apartment complex for outdated technology. When Claire knocks on Oliver's door to borrow a battery charger, their unexpected acquaintance blossoms into a charming road trip to see fireflies, awakening profound human feelings of friendship, longing, and love. Having captured international attention from its original Korean-language debut to a acclaimed run on Broadway at the Belasco Theatre directed by Michael Arden, Maybe Happy Ending has established itself as one of the most innovative and emotionally resonant contemporary theatrical productions. Blending jazz-infused melodies, acoustic arrangements, and brilliant LED video technology, the intimate musical reimagines classic romance tropes through an inventive futuristic lens. Featuring heartfelt numbers like 'World Within My Room', 'Hitting the Road', and 'When You're in Love', the show explores the beauty and vulnerability of connection in an increasingly automated world.
